powering the arts across Northamptonshire

YOUR MOBILE ARTS CENTRE
 
In addition to our produced work and Emerging Perspectives programme we also manage Northants Touring Arts, the rural and community touring scheme for Northamptonshire, curating a year round programme of theatre, music and live arts from around the country, working with volunteer promoters throughout the county.

Northants Touring Arts provides access to high quality arts events throughout Northamptonshire. We support a network of voluntary promoters across the county to host a range of professional performances and workshops in villages bringing communities together where they live.

 
Alongside cultural benefits, the arts have a valuable role to play in enriching quality of life and developing community cohesion. Through Northants Touring Arts we enable communities to access a high quality and affordable live arts programme on their doorstep. Performances includes theatre, music, dance, comedy, spoken word and events for families and children suitable for audiences aged 3 - 103yrs!

Northants Touring Arts is funded by Arts Council England, Northamptonshire County Council, Northamptonshire Community Foundation and South Northamptonshire Council.

New Perspectives is an East Midlands based national touring theatre company, with a specialty in creating dynamic performances for rural audiences. We make ambitious and original theatre, focusing on new writing, adaptations and revivals, which we present in community settings and venues nationally and internationally. We provide career defining training and mentoring opportunities for emerging regional talent and manage the rural touring scheme Northants Touring Arts .
